About KLANGIDEE
Klangidee was founded in 2003 as a platform for music in the fields of film, tv and events. In 2007 the label KLANGIDEE was added to covert he growing demand for productionmusic.
Klangidee works together with internationally renowned composers and performers in the area of productionmusic for tv, radio and web. There are regular cooperations with internationally operating production music publishers.
In order to widen the range of the repertoire and to expand application possibilities, Andreas Suttner founded EDITION KLANGIDEE, another label in the field of production music, in 2019. The international distribution of the edition is carried out in cooperation with APL Publishing GmbH.
The Team
ANDREAS SUTTNER
Founder of KLANGIDEE
Andreas Suttner has studied Violoncello and music tuition at the Leopold-Mozart-Conservatory in Augsburg and the National Academy for Music and Theater in Munich. He has won the 'Salzmann-Competition for young Cellists' and been awarded at the 'Jugend Musiziert' contest on more than one occasion. As a musician he is working as a soloist and in different ensembles.
After completing his MA in Arts Management at City University of London in 2000 and 2001 he has turned his attention to music management and promotion in addition to keeping up a busy concert schedule. From 2004 he is working as a music consultant for the film department of Bavarian Television and from 2008 as trainer for the ARD-ZDF media academy. In 2007 Andreas Suttner founded KLANGIDEE and since then is focusing on his work as a composer and producer for filmmusic in TV, radio and web.
His focus is (besides the cello as his main instrument) on reduced and minimalistic titles in a mixture of live recorded instruments and subtle used electronic elements. Depending on the style of the music he also works under his artistic names Tony Delmonte or Michi Koerner.

The two internationally active musicians have joined forces as Songs&Signals and write among others high-quality production music for many international publishers. We are pleased that we could win the two thoroughbred musicians also as composers for Klangidee-productions.
INGO HERRMANN
Ingo Herrmann has produced several hundred titles in various genres, especially for film, TV, radio, advertising and new media. These are published in various production music libraries worldwide. The bandwidth ranges from electronica, chillout, jazz, funk and world music to suspense music for thrillers, as well as trailers and commercials.
DARREN CAMPBELL JENKINS
Darren Campbell Jenkins is a composer living in Edinburgh Scotland. He began his journey in production music in late September 2018 when he was introduced to Velvet Green music. Since then he has been working for almost 20 different library catalogues, and we are very proud of KLANGIDEE is being one of them.
STEFAN HÖCHTL
The Munich composer, keyboardist and producer Stefan Höchtl studied viola and piano at the Leopold-Mozart-Conservatory in Augsburg. For decades he has been writing production music for film and television in the orchestral, jazz and pop genres. His albums have been released worldwide.
THOMAS GRUBER
Thomas studied music in Munich and Linz (A) and comes from the traditional Bavarian folk music. But he has been on stage for years now with his own music - shaped by the tradition, but still up-to-date. Klangidee is happy to have him in the team for production music.
DIMITRIS PAPAGEORGIOU
The Greek musician and composer plays a whole number of ethnic instruments from the Middle East and Southern European area. And in the meantime he writes for labels and publishers of production music worldwide.
MARKUS STRASSER
Markus Strasser became a well-known in production music for his authentic and handmade style. In the meanwhile he produces and composes for many different labels and publishers.
JOCHEN SCHMIDT-HAMBROCK
Jochen Schmidt-Hambrock became internationally reknown as filmmusic composer for OSCAR nominated films like BEYOND SILENCE - Klangidee is very happy to have him as composer for titles in the field of production music.
DANIEL BACKES & PETER MOSLENER
The team Backes-Moslener has been working for many years in the field of production music and is a guarantor for a high level of production quality.
BOULISHIOUS BIRD
Boulishious Bird has worked as composer for almost 40 publishers. Besides the film- and TV-business Boulishious Bird is working with different singers and bands.
MATTHIAS DEGER
The singer, clarinetist and composer has been working since 2016 for KLANGIDEE productions in various genres.
LOUIS EDLINGER
Louis Edlinger is a composer, pianist, and music producer. His soundtracks were screened/performed at film festivals around the world. Louis Edlinger studied film music and composition at Zurich University Of Arts.
LASZLO DOBOS
László Dobos studied bassoon at the conservatory in Budapest. As a music supervisor he worked for Mafilm, Budapest. From 1980 until 2012 he worked as a sound engeneer at the Gärtnerplatz Theatre and for Bavarian TV. For KLANGIDEE he creates experimental electronic sounds on the edge to sounddesign.
CHRIS GILCHER
Coming from the world of synthesizers and electronic music, where he released well-known titles all over the world, Chris also went into composing for Film, TV or Commercials, and this is still a central part of his musical career. Recently he is more and more working also in the field of production music.
CHRISTOPH HAMMER
The international reknowned specialist for historic piano instruments is professor for music at the Leopold-Mozart Centre of the university of Augsburg. For KLANGIDEE he played titles for pianoforte and harpsichord.
ANSELM KREUZER
Anselm Kreuzer has been working as a composer for film TV, Advertising and web since 2000. He is now well reknowned for his work and publishes for many international labels and libraries.
LARS KURZ
Lars Kurz is a music producer, soundengineer and filmcomposer. Before his career in filmmusik he played as a guitarist with many well-known bands live on stage or as a studio-musician.
WOLFGANG LACKERSCHMID
The international reknowned jazz-virtuoso also works sometimes as a composer for filmmusic and music libraries.
WOLFGANG MOSER
The guirarplayer, filmcomposer and producer has been working since 2009 for KLANGIDEE – he specialised subtle tension tracks ad on authentic sounds in the field of folk music, coming from the Alpine area of South Tirol.
WOLFGANG H . NETZER
Wolfgang H. Netzer is a international reknowned guitar player and has been working besides his live-music activity since a long time as a filmmusic composer.
MICHAEL PROKSCH
The renowned piano teacher and filmcomposer Michael Proksch specialized in his Filmmusik mainly on his instrument, the piano.
ALAN JAY REED
Alan Jay Reed is specialised in composition for production music libraries and works worldwide in the area. He also is a successful trailer composer.
STEFANIE SCHLESINGER
Stefanie Schlesinger is a Jazz singer and in this genre on stage with many renowned artists. Since quite a while she has also been composing for film and stage.
SEBASTIAN WATZINGER
The composer is born in Bavaria, but now has been living for some time in the USA. There he works for many film-, advertising- and TV productions.
MANUEL WIENCKE
Manuel Wiencke is actually an opera singer and voice teacher, but he already wrote over 100 piano songs, which partly have already been published as well. These often reduced piano titles are perfectly suitable in the field of production music and we are very happy to have Manuel as a composer in the Klangidee team.

KATI GODRON
Kati Godron studied design communication and has been working for many different companies before founding her own business as graphic designer. From the beginning in 2007 she took care of the artwork and internet apperance of KLANGIDEE.
HELMUT EILER
Helmut Eiler has been responsible for the website of Andreas Suttner and KLANGIDEE since 2007. He acted as webmaster and realised the technical implementation of the 2019 relaunch.
